Curriki

Have you heard about Curriki.org? Curriki is "a community of educators, learners and committed education experts who are working together to create quality materials that will benefit teachers and students around the world."

"Curriki is an online environment created to support the development and free distribution of world-class educational materials to anyone who needs them. Our name is a play on the combination of 'curriculum' and 'wiki' which is the technology we're using to make education universally accessible."

I did a quick "Browse by Subject" and found 138 math resources, all free and available to anyone who wants to use them. Although Curriki is fairly new, the site already boasts 10,000 members, and membership is free!

Teachers have historically spent many of their own dollars for quality curricular materials. Curriki is just one more example of the collaboration and communication happening on Web 2.0. Check it out and consider posting and sharing some of your own "good stuff!"
