CFF Progress--Slow but Sure!

Our "Classrooms for the Future" implementation isn't moving along as quickly as we'd like, but we are finally making progress. Both our Apple leadership and technical trainings have now been scheduled for January, and Apple is working on January dates for the out-of-the-box training for the CFF teachers as well. We will be grouped with teachers from Sharon City and Laurel School Districts for the two-day out-of-the-box sessions.

Matt Little, our Apple Tech Service Consultant, (We called him our "Apple Hero!") visited yesterday and got our Apple Xtreme server set up. He also taught us how to set our MacBooks to work with active directory on our current network so we can access and save to our existing network accounts. It's amazing how easy things become when you have a good teacher!

I'm still personally frustrated with my MacBook. Matt said it "isn't happy" and recommended that we reimage it AGAIN with the updated image he left us. Hopefully the third time will be the charm; I am very anxious to move to one laptop. Carrying two around is getting old, and I'm anxious to learn the new Mac applications.

Matt promised to return after the holidays and help us move ahead. I can't wait!
