Digital Textbooks Gaining Ground
Textbook publishers are piloting online digital textbooks to satisfy the demands of school districts that want more options to meet the diverse needs of K-12 learners. Students and teachers enter a password to access traditional text as well as audio, video, interactive games, animation, and tutorials.

We have discussed at KHS whether more access to computers in CFF classrooms will allow us to purchase fewer textbooks in the future. Do you see that happening? How long will it be before students' bookbags contain laptops instead of a variety of heavy textbooks?
