Keystone Kids Join Tech4S!

Keystone 8th grader Samantha and fifth graders Eric and Tanner (pictured above, left to right) have joined the Tech4S! Tech4S is a program offered by Riverview IU 6 that trains middle school students to operate a variety of technology equipment and software. In return, these students will provide assistance to teachers and students in their own schools.

Samantha, Eric, and Tanner recently attended their first training session at IU 6, accompanied by mentor Sharon Geary, KHS library media specialist and CFF coach. Ryan Smith, KES technology integration teacher, will also work with the elementary students. The students learned about our videoconferencing equipment and were introduced to the Keystone Commons web portal.

The Tech4S program is being funded by IU 6's eFund grant. In addition to training, each participating team will receive a SMART Airliner 2 wireless slate, FLIP SD camera, flash drives, t-shirts, and binders.
