Students Create Safe Driving PSAs

L. to R: "Scuba Steve" from C-93, Brianna, Niki, Sarah, and Dalton

Sophomores in Brigette Irwin's Traffic Safety classes recently created public service announcements on distracted driving. The students used Garageband software on their Macbooks to record the messages. Two of the PSAs were then chosen to be re-recorded at our local radio station, C93 FM (92.7), and these recordings will air on both C93 and Radio 13 (1300 AM).

Dustin Kifer, a KHS math teacher who is also an on-air announcer at C93, accompanied the group to the radio station and assisted with the recordings.

If you receive blog updates by email, you may have to visit the blog to listen to the PSAs.
