Traffic Safety Students Produce Public Service Announcements

L to R:  Braden, Nick, Jenna, Matt, Alyssa, Matt, Alicia, Marana, and Jesse (from C-93)

Students in Brigette Irwin's Traffic Safety classes once again produced public safety announcements on safe driving. After working in groups to write scripts, the students used Garageband software on their Macbooks to create and save their podcasts.

Students who wrote the three winning projects then traveled to the C-93 radio studio in Clarion to have their podcasts produced by C-93's "Scuba Steve" for broadcast on both C-93 FM and AM 1300. KHS math teacher Dustin Kifer, a part-time deejay on C-93, coordinated the efforts with the radio stations.

Enjoy the students' public service announcements and please pay attention to their important messages.
