How a Teacher Uses the Penultimate App

Penultimate is a free handwriting app for iPad. You can create notes, draw sketches, or just doodle using a stylus (or your finger)! You can also choose from a variety of "paper," insert pictures, save your notes as pdfs, print,  and share via email. Your notes can also be opened in a variety of other apps, including Dropbox and Google Drive.

Penultimate can be used alone or synced with Evernote, which allows you to search the text in your notes and find them again later.

Read how Jordan Collier, a junior high English teacher, uses Penultimate both in his classroom and in his personal life.
