Scholastic Summer Challenge 2013
Students can register to log reading minutes, compete against other kids from around the world, and earn digital rewards. Teachers can register their classes to monitor summer reading as well. The site also includes parent resources and tips for encouraging their children to keep reading over the long vacation.

Each book was chosen based on age, reading level, topic, writing quality, illustrations, and overall excellence. We make a special effort to highlight newly published books. Also included are great books for sharing, talking over, and thinking about with an adult as well as exceptional audio books.

Oprah's Book Club
