Using Google Apps for Teacher Transparency
http://doug-johnson.squarespace.com/blue-skunk-blog/2013/10/7/googleapps-and-teacher-transparency-4.html
This is Part 4 of a 4-part series on using Google Apps to set up a web site and share information with parents and students. (See the link in the article to access the first three parts.) One thing that struck me in Part 4 is the suggestion that grade levels and departments make ONE web site and share the work load! When you think about it, your grade-level or department colleagues are probably addressing much of the same information, so why repeat it 4, 5, or 6 times on different class web sites? Collaborate on ONE web site and then add personal pages as needed. Brilliant!
