Resource Roundup!

From my blogroll . . .

If you'd like new resources to use in your Olweus Bullying sessions, take a look at this article.

Great Websites for Kids is a collection of exemplary sites for kids up to 14 years old that have been reviewed by a division of the American Library Association.

This new feature in Google Docs makes editing student documents easier!

Book Wizard Mobile is a free app from Scholastic that allows you to scan the bar code of a book to determine reading level, grade level equivalent, and more.

If you have a nice view of trees out your classroom window, it might be fun for your students to take a series of pictures over the next month and create a timelapse video of the changing leaves.

Expedition:  Insects is a free interactive book from the Smithsonian for Grades 3-5. Download and read it through iBooks on your iPad. You can also read it online, but it won't be interactive.
