Yay for Gmail!

Happy New Year, Keystone folks!

It appears that our conversion to Gmail went pretty smoothly. If you're reading this post, you've probably ventured into your new Gmail account. And have you noticed that there's virtually no spam in your inbox? Woo hoo!

Did you know that Google provides free training for their Google Apps for Education customers? Learn the basics of Gmail with these tutorials. Don't miss Level 2, Lesson 2, which goes over the basics of composing an email.

Google has also added functionality that allows you to edit Microsoft Office files from your Gmail account.

As you explore and begin to use your Gmail account, please email me with any "How do I . . . " questions, and I will gladly answer them. And as always, if you have any requests or ideas for before- or after-school trainings, send those my way as well!

Don't forget, too, that you can access past Keystone Tech Talk posts by visiting the blog. Use the search box or click on the tags to zero in on specific topics. If you haven't had a chance to watch all of my YouTube staff development videos, now's the time to catch up!
