Wi-fi Assist in iOS 9 Could Get Expensive!

"Wi-fi Assist" is a new function in iOS 9. If you've updated your iPhone (or iPad with cellular access) recently, wi-fi assist is turned on by default. This feature automatically switches your device to cellular data when your wireless connection is poor. Although wi-fi assist comes in handy when you don't want to drop Internet connectivity, it could potentially put you over your cellular data limit. And that could get expensive!

To turn off wi-fi assist, on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 9, go to Settings > Cellular. Scroll way to the bottom under the list of your apps. Slide the wi-fi assist button to turn it off.
